hitting send: a quiet restart
Six years ago,
I wrote a post called Pivot. I had made the jump from design and development to a full-time role in marketing about a year earlier. At the time, it was a really scary decision. I was leaving what I knew — pivoting — to try something new.
A lot has happened since then.
There have been new jobs, new challenges, and new seasons of growth. I’ve learned more about what I need to thrive (see here) and what I’m willing to let go of.
Some changes were intentional. Others showed up uninvited, as life tends to do. Through it all, I kept thinking, I should be writing this down.
Now — I finally am.
Firing up the blog and starting a newsletter feels like its own kind of pivot. Not as dramatic as leaping from one expertise to another, but still vulnerable. Still somehow a scary decision. It’s one thing to have thoughts swirling in your head. It’s another to share them and open them up to others.
I have missed writing. And I realized I don’t need a big dramatic reason to begin again. This is me, starting small, seeing where it leads.
So if you’re reading this, thank you for being here. I’ll be writing about corporate life, marketing, relationship building, and everything in between. No big promises — just a slow return to something I’ve missed.
Let’s see where this goes.
